Black Friday is today, so it’s time to drop that turkey leg and start doing your research to find out what deals you’re going to take advantage of. It can be pretty disappointing if you go into Black Friday shopping without a plan of action – you’ll just get lost in a sea of frenzied holiday shoppers looking to get that LCD television for half the price. The Best Deals on Electronics for Black Friday 2012
Best Buy isn’t letting us know exactly what it’s Black Friday 2012 sales consists of, but here are a few highlights.
- You can expect to get a Toshiba 40-inch Class LCD HD TV for $179.99, a 15.6-inch Samsung Windows 8 laptop with 4GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive for $349.95, and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 for $179.99.
- Sprint subscribers can grab the Samsung’s Galaxy S3 for only $48 through Best Buy on Black Friday. The Asus 14-inch Windows 8 laptops available in pink, white or green will also be selling for $249.99.
- For gamers, titles such as “Medal of Honor: Warfighter,” “Darksiders II” and “Battlefield 3: Premium Edition” will be on sale for $29.99.
These prices begin at 12 am on Friday. The electronics retailer will be handing out tickets to customers waiting in line two hours before doors open.
Walmart
Walmart, the leader of Black Friday sales, will have sales on select electronics, including Apple’s iPad with Retina Display for $499, a 50-inch Sceptre LCD HD TV for $429, and an HP 15.6-inch Windows 8 laptop for $299.
Microsoft is offering sales on select Windows-based PCs. When purchasing a Surface bundle, you can save $50 on a second touch or type cover. Microsoft shoppers will also get the Acer Aspire V5 Notebook for $699.99. VIZIO’s 14-inch Ultrabook will be on sale for $699.99 as well. Microsoft says that gamers can save up to $35 on select Xbox 360 games and $100 on certain Xbox consoles.
