Loan for Watch Boca Raton
Antiquorum just finished their sale in Geneva last week. Three of the top lots included a rare vintage Rolex Submariner with a big crown, a vintage Vacheron Constantine minute repeater, and a platinum Rolex Day-Date in platinum reference number 1831. All three of these watches sold for huge money. Get a loan for watch Boca Raton.
First up is the vintage Rolex Submariner Reference 6200 which sold for 183,750 CHF. This is more commonly known as a “Big Crown” Submariner in the business. It is a highly sought after and desirable rare vintage Rolex. All of these Subs have the Explorer dial which means the markers are written out as 3, 6, and 9 instead of hashes. It sold for more than the estimate price, but it was not even close to the record. Some big crown Subs in excellent condition have sold for over half a million.
Next is the 1945 Vacheron Constantin Minute Repeater. This amazing watch sold for 123,750 CHF. Minute repeaters, even today, are highly sought after watches. They give an audible chime that lets you know the time. This one ended up selling for a bit less than the estimate but it still brought in a lot of money.
Finally is the Rolex Day-Date 1831 in platinum. This watch is number one of only eight ever made. It features a blue diamond dial and diamond bezel. The entire bracelet is also solid platinum. This is actually the first one of the eight produced. This sold for 165,750 CHF which was almost 4x the high end estimate of 45,000 CHF.
Rare and vintage watches sell for huge money. Imagine the first watch in this lot is just a stainless steel vintage diving watch, and it sold for almost $200,000.
