Celebrities who Still use Old-School Flip Phones
After seeing the infamous Anna Wintour (editor-and-cheif) of Vogue using an old-school flip phone at new york fashion week we were completely stunned. We never thought in a million years people would start using those again! Especially not THE Anna Wintour! Omg! So then we thought about it, there are probably other celebs stuck in 1999. 1. Kate Beckinsale
We have seen her rocking the most stylish clothes, bags, and accessories, but a flip phone! So below the Serendipity actress! She has been seen reintroducing the 90’s all over town and we are calling her out and saying Kate MAKE IT STOP! But seriously its not even the fact its a flip phone, what really offends us is how does she find her contacts? Smartphones allow you to enter the first letter of someones name and it will magically index, but a flip phone means sitting and sifting through your contacts to find someone. God forbid.
2. Laurent Conrad
So this isn’t necessarily a “flip phone” but she has been seen trotting around occasionally with an old school blackberry. I think I had a blackberry in 2008, I guess to some people thats a pretty current time period. Regardless it was pretty tacky. You’re not anyone if you don’t have an Android or iPhone
3. Anna Wintour
Like we mentioned earlier the editor-in-cheif of Vogue, Anna Wintour still has a flip phone. In an interview she even owned up to having this electronic device most commonly used by drug dealers and pimps. She has been seen all around town with this thing! Tennis opens, fashion week, etc. If you don’t know what Vogue is, its basically the most fashion forward respectable magazines that still makes an income. She is a style icon and even had Devil Wears Prada with Meryl Streep loosely based on her life. Get rid of the smart phone, please Anna.
4. President Barack Obama
Honestly I don’t know if this is a security risk or he is just too busy doing other things to get an iPhone. Whatever the case, above you can see the president smiling in the back of his car on his crap cell phone. The president has the power to know secrets and access to the best technology and he decided a flip phone was fitting. Gosh…
5. Jenny McCarthy
This blond bombshell not only has a flip phone, but it gets even worse. I might cry. I didn’t know someone could do more damage than having a smartphone. Jenny has bejeweled her cell!!! Ahhh are you dying inside like us? She proudly showed it off on the red carpet.
