Want to dress like your celebs? In July the very trendy fashionista Kate Bosworth released the newest trend setting application Style Thief. Now with just a snap of a picture you can be dressing exactly like your favorite celebrities.
Everyone has style envy Kate Bosworth was saying in an interview with WWD. Utilizing the growing trend of commerce shopping and snapping a quick pic with your phone has made Style Thief possible. Now with just a quick snap of your smart phone you can find a similar style outfit to what you are craving to wear! With business entrepreneur Samantha Russ, Kate Bosworth partnered up to make Style Thief more than an imagination!
Bosworth has been exposed to the fashion world by designing two tie-ups with London based Top Shop. She also said the idea started when she wanted to steal Cate Blanchett’s style, Julianne Moore, and Alexa Chung. “Every time I look at a collaboration, whether it’s with product or an online presence or something like an app, it really is the melding of art and commerce, fashion and tech,” Bosworth told WWD. She continued, “Understanding how to refine search for customers is, I think, something on the forefront of tech and fashion.”
This app is genius! We tried it out today. Not only can you take photos from your library and it will connect you to similar outfits, but you can snap on the go! Once items are found you can sort by relevance, price low to high, high to low, etc. If there isn’t a specific outfit you want to take a picture of you now you can take a picture of a wall, or table, or any design that catches your eye!!
You can add an item to favorites, price watch to see if the item will go on sale soon. Geo-targeting is another cool feature Style Thief has! You can put in your location so you can find these items close to you! Could you just die?
