Sell Watches Boca Raton
Newark Liberty International Airport doesn’t have the best reputation. It’s usually very crowded, dirty, and not well run. Well how would you feel if you left something worth $100,000 behind at the security line? It would be a nightmare right? Well a man from Japan just lived that nightmare. He left a Cartier diamond and gold watch he said is worth $100,000 in Newark and flew home without it. “The owner of the watch, a Japanese real estate entrepreneur who oversees multiple hotels and resorts in Japan and other countries, accidentally left the watch behind at the checkpoint on his way back to Japan,” TSA spokewoman Lisa Farbstein said in a statement. Somehow, the watch was brought to the lost and found and the owner will soon be reunited with the watch. To prove he owned the watch the man sent photos of himself wearing the watch. The exact make and model of the watch are unknown, but from the picture provided it appears to be a Cartier Panthere in yellow gold encrusted in diamonds. He is lucky someone didn’t spot the watch first and sell watches Boca Raton. Which gets us to thinking, what are some other weird things left behind by travelers?
1. Kate Middleton
British budget hotel chain Premier Inn found a ton of unwanted “royal products”. Included in the lot were 18 masks of Queen Elizabeth II, 12 masks of Prince Philip, 36 Union Jack flags, and a life-sized cut out of Kate Middleton.
2. Live Turtle
“A guest left behind a turtle in their room and it ended up wandering the guest corridors where a room attendant almost stumbled on him,” says a staffer at Banyan Tree Macau. “The room attendant immediately brought him down to the housekeeping office where we found a glass vase to serve as a turtle tank. “We named it after the Banyan Tree Green Imperative Fund’s turtle, Felly. It now serves as the housekeeping mascot. We even bought another turtle to accompany him so that he will not be alone.”
3. Wedding Gown
After a newlywed couple checked out of Jumeirah Dhevanafushi in the Maldives, a housekeeper found a wedding gown had been left behind. Surprisingly, the guests were not concerned and the dress was still with the hotel. Staff suspect the dress was brought along only for the wedding photos, a common practice among Asian guests. Or maybe the honeymoon didn’t go as well as planned.
4. Tickets to the Olympic men’s 100-meter final
Two guests left behind a pair of tickets to the men’s 100-meter final. Either they were very forgetful, have too much money (tickets we selling for thousands of dollars), or were in a rush to get somewhere faster than Usain Bolt.
5. Cash
At London’s Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel a maid found $805 in a guest room. The hotel managed to track down the guest and return the cash. As a gesture, the guest tipped the maid who found it $805 :). Also, some staff at Hong Kong International Airport found $13,000 in an unclaimed bag. It was later returned to the owner who said they just forgot about it.
