Pre-Owned Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA
Rolex has been synonymous with water since it’s inception in the early 1900’s. They were the first company to create a waterproof watch in 1923 and all of their watches now are certified water proof for up to at least 100 meters. Most of Rolex’s watches have to do with diving or boating. For example the Submariner is a diver’s watch with water resistance up to 1,000 feet and the Yachtmaster is designed for those who go yachting.
But the ultimate diver’s watch, even more so than the Submariner, is the Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA. With certified waterproofing of up to 12,800 feet, you can certainly wear this watch in the shower. The DEEPSEA is a version of the Sea-Dweller which used to be the furthest diving watch Rolex made (with certification of up to 4,000 feet).
The pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA is a huge watch. The case diameter is 44mm and is 17.7mm thick. When you put it on your wrist you really feel how big this thing is.
With a retail price of $12,050.00 it may seem a bit expensive. However, when you think about the engineering that goes in to making a watch that can withstand 2.98 metric tons of water pressure you start to understand the price. Not to mention it is a beautiful looking watch on the wrist and will make a statement whether you wear it to a ball game or out to dinner.
