The London-based retailer 77 Diamonds sent a diamond inside a box hooked to a helium balloon to space and now they are inviting people to find where it fell back to Earth. The stone is a 1.14ct cushion-cut diamond worth around $20,000 was launched into space with a helium balloon. The balloon was in the air for 150 minutes and reached an altitude of 100,000 feet before it popped, releasing the diamond back to Earth.

The stone was launched into the sky on August 7th and touched land near 60 miles away from the launch point.
