In case you missed the Grammy’s over the weekend you didn’t miss much. Most of the live performances were slow and boring songs and there weren’t any surprise winners. But I guess Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Kanye teaming up was exciting. Until Kanye ruined that with his rant against Beck winning the award for album of the year. Ye thought that Beyonce should have won going away. Oh, and speaking of Beyonce, did you notice her jewelry? Well, she sure wanted you to considering the fact that she was wearing over $10 million worth! That’s right, $10 million. And she wasn’t the only celeb there drenched in over a million worth of jewelry. Find out who looked the best in their jewelry Boca Raton at the Grammy’s below.
1. Beyonce
Beyonce defaults to the #1 spot just because of how much money she was wearing. You have to put someone decked out in $10 million worth of jewelry at the top of a best dressed list. She rocked an 80 carat Colombian emerald and diamond chandelier earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and over 100 carats of emerald and diamond rings by the same designer. That’s just crazy! And for her gospel performance she had on a $132,680 Monique Pean white gold and ethically sourced diamond necklace.
2. Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga
Swift has come a long way from her country days. Her songs are on the radio 24/7 it seems like. Along with Queen Bey, Swift was also wearing Lorraine Schwartz gems, but only 10% of the value. She had about $1 million of jewelry on for the occasion including $350,000 earrings. The earrings were black opal paraiba and she had matching black opal rings. And to keep it all in the family, Gaga was also wearing Lorraine Schwartz emeralds. She rocked 45-carat drop earrings and huge statement necklace featuring a pear shaped emerald.
3. Rihanna
Rihanna was wearing 40 carats worth of Chopard diamonds. And during her performance with Paul McCartney and Kanye West she wore an 81.88 carat platinum set diamond necklace, also by Chopard. Shine bright like a diamond!
4. Meghan Trainor
True to the theme in most of her songs, Trainor was especially low key. She was wearing a pair of Simon G drop earrings with 2-carats of diamonds. They retail for a measly $7,000. (I know, I know, $7000 is a lot, but compared to $10 million, it’s nothing).
As you can see, there was a lot money in the room at the 2015 Grammy’s! From celebs wearing $10 million to $7,000, there was probably enough jewelry to feed a small country in the Staple’s center. But I guess when you’re a multiple Grammy winner you can do what you want!
