$9 Million Earrings – Loans for Jewelry Boca Raton

This past Wednesday Christie’s held an auction called  Magnificent Jewels.  The top seller at the auction was a pair of D color internally flawless diamond earrings that sold for $8.6 million.  What’s even more incredible is they missed their pre-sale estimate.  They were supposed to sell for $10 million but they still were the most expensive item sold.  Get loans for jewelry Boca Raton.

The main stones in the earrings are both round and weigh 22.60 and 22.31 carats respectively.  They are mounted in a drop style earring that is made of platinum.  The buyer is a member of the Middle Eastern trade.  The price per carat for the stones equals $190,700.  Also sold at the auction was a 40.43 carat oval cut diamond.  It has a color grade of D and clarity grade of potentially flawless.  It sold for $7.7 million or $189,700 per carat.  Also included in the auction’s top 10 was a fancy intense pink diamond ring by Harry Winston and a 6.25-carat Burmese ruby ring, both from the collection of Riki and Jerome Shaw, and a 20.10-carat Harry Winston diamond and a Colombian emerald and diamond brooch from the collection of Kathleen and Martin Field.
