Expensive: $745,000 Patek Philippe – Sell Watches Boca Raton
Antiquorum set a bunch of records at their most recent sale. And Patek Philippe was responsible for the four most expensive sales. “It is clear from (the) results that the market for rare timepieces in excellent condition remains robust,” said Julien Schaerer, managing director and auctioneer at Antiquorum Geneva. There were multiple watches sold for well over $100,000 and one got close to $1 million. It’s not every day you sell a place sell watches Boca Raton for that kind of money. Below are the four top grossing Patek Philippe watches.
1. Patek Philippe 5016
This Patek Philippe set a record for the most expensive sold with this reference. It features a one-minute tourbillon regulator, retrograde perpetual calendar and moon phases. It sold for $745,000 and was the top grossing sale at the auction.
2. Patek Philippe 2499
This is an 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe round button chronograph. It has a perpetual calender which means you set it and forget it. It also has a moon phase function. It sold for $522,700 and set a record for most expensive Patek with this reference.
3. Patek Philippe 5959
This is a platinum Patek Philippe. It features a split seconds chronograph function. It sold for $273,600.
4. Patek Philippe 5077
This is a platinum Patek Philippe that was made in limited production in 2010. It features an “Indien d’Amerique” cloisonné enamel dial and a platinum Patek Philippe buckle. It was the highest price for this reference ever sold.
